What Is Life Coaching?
During a life coaching session we focus on what is currently happening in your life. We ask you questions so that you can express yourself and make more sense of what you’re experiencing with your friends, family, and at school. This can include your doubts and hesitations as well as your passions and what you know in your heart to be true. As your life coach, we will empower you to create an amazing life!
In order to do this, there are four main areas of life coaching where we help you to:
- Discover your true passion and talents
- Identify and talk about your concerns
- Design a life plan to follow your passion
- Hold you accountable and keep you focused
Right from the start we believe that you are capable of achieving really great things. Our job as your coach is to give you ongoing support as you go through this process of fully expressing your potential!
Our Approach
In order to optimize results, this coaching program is divided into an initial assessment block, and four progressive coaching levels. These levels are the result of years of experience and practice. They correlate to the four stages of nature cycles such as the four seasons of the year (Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall), the four winds of the Earth (South, East, North and West), the four suns through the day (Hidden, Sunrise, mid day and sunset), the four moons of the month (New, Crescent, Full and wining) … the four stages of human development (childhood, adolescence, adulthood and old age).
In our program, these stages are the four pillars of the coaching process and can go anywhere from three to six months each. They are called:
1. CONNECTION Your teen will establish a healthy relationship with the coach, themselves and others based on clear roles, boundaries and affection.
2. DISCOVERY Your teen will build a sense of who they are, what they truly want, and their place in the big picture of life.
3. CREATION Your teen will get clear and focused on their passion/s and interests, and begin to create a life plan for themselves.
4. CONSOLIDATION This is where we exit as coaches. Your teen will get ready to continue this work on their own as they integrate all the tools they have learned. This is their rite of passage into becoming a young adult.
NOTE: In order to accomplish holistic growth and solid results, it is highly recommended that your child commits and completes all four coaching levels. Interruption of the process without the proper exit strategy and closing, will compromise the effectiveness of our time together. Consider this to be a highly beneficial and specialized once-in-a-life-time year-long after school program that will give your teen the tools, attitude, mind-set, self-esteem, and a solid emotional capacity to live a happy, fulfilling and prosperous life.
